Lattuada Gallery is pleased to announce the solo exhibition of WANG YIGANG | THE PRAISE OF COLOR, which will be held from October 24 to November 24, 2024, at our location on Via Senato 15, Milan.
This exhibition offers a carefully curated selection of the artist's most representative works from the past ten years. Wang Yigang's journey reflects a profound expressive exploration, developed in his studio in Liaoning province, northern China. In this isolated setting, free from distractions, Wang has explored new pictorial horizons, transcending the geographical and cultural distinctions between East and West, North and South of the world.
The exhibition “The Praise of Color” aims to highlight the central role of color in his painting, where each shade moves with vitality and intensity, challenging the limits of the canvas and breaking the boundaries of the frame. Wang’s work is distinguished by a dense, gestural materiality, where color becomes the true protagonist, expanding into space and engaging the viewer in a multisensory experience.
