Forms in Flux: An Exploration of Abstract Art, a dynamic group exhibition featuring the works of four innovative contemporary artists—Pierluigi de Lutti, Edoardo Menini, Wang Yigang, and Nando Stevoli. This exhibition brings together these visionary artists to explore the ever-evolving nature of abstract art, where form, color, texture, and space converge to create powerful and captivating visual experiences.

Pierluigi de Lutti invites viewers into a world of vibrant, shifting energies. His work is characterized by a dynamic use of color and form, with dramatic contrasts that create a sense of movement and life within the canvas. From ominous black stains to bursts of red and calming blue mists, De Lutti's pieces evoke a visceral response, blurring the lines between figuration and abstraction. His journey from Northern Expressionism to a more abstract, lyrical informality marks a significant evolution in his artistic expression, as he continues to push the boundaries of visual and sensory experience.

Edoardo Menini masterfully intertwines his passions for music and painting, creating works that resonate with the improvisational nature of jazz. His compositions, influenced by Abstract Expressionism and the gestural experimentation of European and American Informal art, avoid defined forms in favor of a fluid, ever-changing approach. Menini's use of collage techniques, layering colors, papers, and fabrics, adds a new dimension to his art, creating a rich, immersive experience that mirrors the emotional depth of his subjects. His work transcends objective reality, offering viewers an introspective journey through the language of color, light, and form.

Wang Yigang brings a powerful sense of motion and emotion to his work, driven by intense colors and dynamic gestures. His artistic journey spans from early figurative works influenced by Cubism and Futurism to a vibrant exploration of Pop Art and, most recently, a deep dive into abstract, conceptual forms. Wang's process is both physical and instinctual, as he paints with his entire body, layering pigments and continuously revising his work until it captures the full liberation of his creative spirit. His recent works reflect a rich, colorful palette and a profound engagement with the materiality of paint, creating pieces that are both visually striking and deeply resonant.

Nando Stevoli introduces a distinctive approach to abstraction through his masterful use of pleats that cut through space and interact dynamically with light. Stevoli’s technique, inspired by Lucio Fontana’s cuts, features continuous, parallel pleats that create a rhythmic interplay of textures and colors, unleashing a powerful visual energy. His art draws inspiration from dreamlike architectures and Japanese ikebana, incorporating symmetrical geometric forms that evoke a sense of refined elegance. As a prominent figure in the Rigorism movement, Stevoli’s work contributes to a broader exploration of monochrome canvases and spatial volumes, offering a positive and captivating energy that invites viewers to experience art in new, profound ways.

Each artist, through their unique approach, contributes to a broader conversation about the possibilities of abstraction, where forms are in constant motion and meaning is continually redefined.
