ABOUT THE ARTIST
Angelo Brescianini (b. 1948, Palazzolo sull’Oglio, Bergamo, Italy) is a distinguished Italian artist known for his inventive techniques and unique material exploration. Influenced by architect Luca Pastorio, the son of painter Ezio Pastorio, Brescianini began his career by creating woodworks with precious metal settings for notable artists including Cassinari, Fiume, Munari, Bonalumi, and Kendra. His signature technique involves shooting bullets onto aluminum plates from behind, resulting in dramatic, textured impressions that reflect the impact's energy and complexity.
Brescianini’s innovative art has been featured in several prestigious venues. His work was notably showcased at the Biennale in Padua, where he won a first award for his painting "Waiting Dolorosa." His art is represented in prominent collections such as the Museo del Novecento in Milan and the Galleria d'Arte Moderna in Bologna. Additionally, his pieces are included in various private collections both in Italy and internationally.
