ABOUT THE ARTIST
Riccardo Gusmaroli’s (b. 1963, Verona, Italy) began his artistic journey as a photographer, collaborating with Studio Azzurro. His first solo exhibition was in 1992 at Galleria Toselli in Milan. In 1998, he participated in a group exhibition at Galleria Cà di Frà in Milan alongside notable artists like Damien Hirst and Konrad Klapheck. Since 2000, Gusmaroli has showcased his work at various galleries, including Montrasio Gallery in Monza, Forni Gallery in Bologna, Simonis Studio in Paris, Tega Gallery in Milan, and Ermanno Tedeschi in Turin. In 2010, the Spazia Gallery in Bologna marked its 30th anniversary with his significant solo exhibition "DERIVE," curated by Valerio Dehò. His work has also been featured in group exhibitions at the Civic Museum of Lodi, Galleria d’Arte Moderna in Turin, and Galleria Sperone in New York. Gusmaroli lives and works in Milan.
